remote-artifacts:refresh
Re-fetch a public HTTPS JSON Remote Artifact now: like `remote-artifacts:resolve` with --force_refresh always on, so it skips the freshness cache. Exception: while another refresh of the same artifact holds the refresh lock (up to --cache_ttl_seconds) and a cached copy exists, it returns that cached copy (`remote_status` `fresh`) without fetching. Unchanged rendered content and source settings keep the artifact and the node's revision; a change replaces the artifact and bumps the revision. Needs write access.

DESTRUCTIVE: deletes, overwrites or revokes something
Usage
flywheel remote-artifacts:refresh <FLAGS>Required flags
| Flag | Value | Default | Choices | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
--node_id | string | Node UUID (not a slug) from node_id in hosted:node:list or graph:get. Missing or hidden: 404 where the command loads it. | ||
--remote_artifact_id | string | Your stable ID for this remote source on the node (non-blank). Reusing it replaces that artifact when the content or a source setting changed; a new ID adds another. | ||
--title | string | Display title of the generated artifact (non-blank). A changed title counts as changed content. | ||
--url | string | Public HTTPS URL on port 443, without credentials, resolving only to public addresses, that returns a JSON object. Otherwise the fetch fails (remote_status error or stale_error). | ||
--rows_path | string | Dot-separated path from the JSON object to the list of rows, e.g. data.items (non-blank). Not a list: the fetch fails. | ||
--row_id | string | Dot-separated path inside each row to its unique scalar ID, e.g. id (non-blank). Missing or not a scalar: the fetch fails. |
Optional flags
| Flag | Value | Default | Choices | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
--cache_ttl_seconds | integer | Seconds a fetched copy counts as fresh (positive; omitted: 60). Changing it counts as a changed source setting. | ||
--format | FORMAT | json, tsv, csv, table | Output format for command results. | |
--env | PROFILE | Select a CLI profile; unconfigured default requires FLYWHEEL_BASE_URL. | ||
--out | PATH | Write output to a file path, or use - for stdout. | ||
--open | Open browser-bound URLs when supported. | |||
--no-retry | Disable transient-error retries. | |||
--retry-max | N | Maximum transient-error retry attempts. | ||
--wait | Block on async operations until a terminal state is reached. | |||
--wait-timeout | SECONDS | 600 | Seconds to wait for --wait before timing out. Defaults to 600. | |
--allow-self | Allow mutating the currently active credential. | |||
--timeout | SECONDS | Set the per-request timeout budget in seconds. | ||
--idempotency-key | KEY | Reuse an Idempotency-Key so ambiguous write failures can be retried with the same key. | ||
--force | Force safety-gated operations where supported. | |||
--yes | Confirm forced compute:release-all --force. Other runtime commands do not read --yes. | |||
--debug | Print structured request debugging with secrets masked. | |||
--verbose | Print verbose progress for long-running operations. | |||
-h, --help | Show this help. |
Examples
Force refresh a Remote Artifact.
flywheel remote-artifacts:refresh --node_id n_abc --remote_artifact_id official_leaderboard --title "Official Leaderboard" --url https://example.com/leaderboard.json --rows_path items --row_id github_usernameOutput
Default format: json.
| Field | Type |
|---|---|
remote_artifact | object |
nodes:stage:lease:release
Give up your stage lease without committing anything. Releasing a lease that expired or does not exist succeeds (`released: true`); another session's live lease is refused with 409.
remote-artifacts:resolve
Fetch a public HTTPS JSON URL and keep its rows as one artifact on the node, identified by --remote_artifact_id. Serves the cached copy while it is fresh (--cache_ttl_seconds) unless --force_refresh is true. When the rendered content or a source setting (--title, --url, --rows_path, --row_id, --cache_ttl_seconds) changed, replaces the node's artifact for that --remote_artifact_id and bumps the node's revision; otherwise neither changes. Needs write access. `remote_artifact.remote_status` says what happened: `fresh`, `refreshed`, `stale_error` (fetch failed, earlier artifact kept) or `error` (fetch failed, no earlier artifact for these source settings).
