Usage
flywheel hosted:node:set <FLAGS> <node_id>Arguments
| Argument | Required | Choices | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
<node_id> | Yes | Node UUID. |
Required flags
| Flag | Value | Default | Choices | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
--repository-id | string | Hosted repository UUID. | ||
--field | string | Node field: title, slug_name, summary, content, origin_host, or external_transcript_ref. | ||
--value-file | string | UTF-8 text file; trimmed null clears the field (not JSON). |
Optional flags
| Flag | Value | Default | Choices | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
--message | string | Hosted commit message. | ||
--expected-head | string | Hosted head this write expects, as head from flywheel hosted:repository:head <repository_id>. When set, the automatic head read is skipped; if the head has moved, the write is refused with repository_head_mismatch: read the head again and retry. | ||
--format | FORMAT | json, tsv, csv, table | Output format for command results. | |
--env | PROFILE | Select a CLI profile; unconfigured default requires FLYWHEEL_BASE_URL. | ||

--allow-self | Allow mutating the currently active credential. | |||
--timeout | SECONDS | Set the per-request timeout budget in seconds. | ||
--idempotency-key | KEY | Reuse an Idempotency-Key so ambiguous write failures can be retried with the same key. | ||
--force | Force safety-gated operations where supported. | |||
--yes | Confirm forced compute:release-all --force. Other runtime commands do not read --yes. | |||
--debug | Print structured request debugging with secrets masked. | |||
--verbose | Print verbose progress for long-running operations. | |||
-h, --help | Show this help. |

hosted:node:restore
Restore one deleted node. Restores title, content and history, but not parent or child edges; add them with hosted:lineage:add. Restores one node: after a cascade delete, restore each ID in the delete result's tombstoned_node_ids. Without --repository-id, the server finds the repository and answers 404 if the ID is unknown or you cannot write to its repository.
hosted:node:tombstone
Commit the reversible removal of a node (a later restore undoes it); its history, semantic edges, containment, tags, and attachments stay in the repository. Lineage links must be removed first. Afterwards hosted:node:get answers 404. hosted:node:restore works from the node ID alone; only older scripts need the repository ID.
