hosted:node:merge
Commit one merged node in this hosted repository and one lineage relation from each supplied source, in argument order. The sources are kept, not deleted or changed. The merged node takes the first nonblank source title (else "Merged node"); its content and summary start empty.
Reference for flywheel hosted:node:merge.
Create and commit one merged node in the hosted repository named by --repository-id; the source lineage does not choose a different repository.
Initial sharing is copied once at creation; see Sharing when a node is created for the full rule. To review work before publishing it, use a local repository and push only when ready.

Usage
flywheel hosted:node:merge <FLAGS>Required flags
| Flag | Value | Default | Choices | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
--repository-id | string | Hosted repository UUID. | ||
--source | string | Source node UUID; repeat --source for each source node. |
Optional flags
| Flag | Value | Default | Choices | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
--message | string | Hosted commit message. | ||
--expected-head | string | Hosted head this write expects, as head from flywheel hosted:repository:head <repository_id>. When set, the automatic head read is skipped; if the head has moved, the write is refused with repository_head_mismatch: read the head again and retry. | ||
--format | FORMAT | json, tsv, csv, table | Output format for command results. | |
--env | PROFILE | Select a CLI profile; unconfigured default requires FLYWHEEL_BASE_URL. | ||
--out | PATH | Write output to a file path, or use - for stdout. | ||
--open | Open browser-bound URLs when supported. | |||
--no-retry | Disable transient-error retries. | |||
--retry-max | N | Maximum transient-error retry attempts. | ||
--wait | Block on async operations until a terminal state is reached. | |||
--wait-timeout | SECONDS | 600 | Seconds to wait for --wait before timing out. Defaults to 600. | |
--allow-self | Allow mutating the currently active credential. | |||
--timeout | SECONDS | Set the per-request timeout budget in seconds. | ||
--idempotency-key | KEY | Reuse an Idempotency-Key so ambiguous write failures can be retried with the same key. | ||
--force | Force safety-gated operations where supported. | |||
--yes | Confirm forced compute:release-all --force. Other runtime commands do not read --yes. | |||
--debug | Print structured request debugging with secrets masked. | |||
--verbose | Print verbose progress for long-running operations. | |||
-h, --help | Show this help. |
Examples
Commit one merged node and lineage from each source in argument order.
flywheel hosted:node:merge --repository-id=<uuid> --source=<node_id> --source=<node_id> --format=jsonOutput
Default format: human.
| Field | Type |
|---|---|
commit_id | string |
head | string |
cursor | string |
receipt_sequence | integer |
node_id | string |
warnings (optional) | array<string> |
hosted:node:list
List one page of nodes with optional filters. Returns nodes, total (all matches), page, page_size and has_more; raise --page while has_more is true. Narrow with --owners, --writers, --visibility, --root_only and --repo_url; --projection sets how much of each node comes back. Use graph:get for connections. Searches only your own nodes unless --access_scopes is given; MCP flywheel_list_nodes always searches owned, shared and public. owner_email and author_email are included only for nodes you own, hold a repository role on, or that are shared with you by name. Public or link access alone does not include these emails; the owner column is empty for other people's public nodes.
hosted:node:restore
Restore one deleted node. Restores title, content and history, but not parent or child edges; add them with hosted:lineage:add. Restores one node: after a cascade delete, restore each ID in the delete result's tombstoned_node_ids. Without --repository-id, the server finds the repository and answers 404 if the ID is unknown or you cannot write to its repository.
